What Is The Miku? Where to start!?

Here is a video that shows the features pretty well. There is a number online, but I hazard a guess this will go to a collector that already knows what this weird little box is capable of!!

The Miku Stomp is an incredible piece of engineering that will change how you think about guitar tone for the rest of your life…

Have you ever thought that your guitar doesn’t sound enough like a female Japanese vocalist that has been synthesized? Of course you have LOL!

Plug in and your guitar instantly changes into the beautiful sound of one of the most popular singers in Japan, Hatsune Miku. Since 2007, Hatsune Miku has appeared on over 100,000 songs in Japan including several that reached the top of the ORICON charts.

Once you get the Miku Stomp set up you will see that you have 11 different vocal patterns including looh, lahh, ahh, pahh, nyan, scat, random 1/2, and phrase 1/2/3.

8 of these are just set patterns (normally a single word) that follows what you play on guitar including bends, slides etc. Phrase 1/2/3 however are saved patterns of vocals that can actually cover an entire song.

Out of the box these three phrases cover basic Japanese lyrics but if you want to, you can add your own via an iPhone app. Please note it only currently accepts Japanese characters though you can write semi phonetically as long as that sound exists in Japanese.

AT TMA, WE THOUGHT WE'D HEARD IT ALL - UNTIL THE MIKU CAME ALONG!

WE'VE NEVER ENCOUNTERED ANYTHING QUITE LIKE IT.....
