Greer Amps has gone from strength to strength since their inception in 1998 and are still producing some of the best pedals on the planet. They've also expanded successfully into amp design.
You'll see from the enclosure this is an early one... Serial # by hand and original pedal enclosure.
This is a phenomenal pedal, that for some crazy reason has been discontinued over the years... Unfortunately, it's often the case from boutique builders. And, after selling high-end guitar gear for over 25yrs I understand why such gems become vintage collectibles and folklore..
Why? It's often sadly simple.... Small, boutique manufacturers generally have limited resources. They can't afford to manufacture and stock endless products lines like Boss and hold inventory that spans 3-4 decades. What do they do instead? Continue to evolve through R&D! And as small, boutique manufacturers (and ultimately creators!) they too evolve and often discontinue a product simply because they feel they've bettered the original design....
Trouble is, as players we found one of these products many eons ago and it's become a permanent in our signal flow. And then!? It dies, gets stolen, or loaned to a 'best mate' for a 2 day recording session, and then mysteriously never gets returned LOL...
Or you get 'sellers remorse"...
And that's we come in!! TMA has bought and sold vintage, rare and often unknown brands in Australia for 25 yrs, and we'll continue to do so as long as there's "gear heads' like us on this Earth!!

Built with a three-knob design, a custom-designed high-gain circuit and warm mid-range response with a wide frequency spread, the Greer Relic Drive is one of the company's most flexible overdrives available. It was inspired by the the screamer-type circuit but IMO it has all the benefits of hindsight... Take an absolute classic and then adds that individual "pedal tweakers' attention to detail that makes it a unique sound.
